This forum hasn't seen a post in awhile, so I thought I'd give it a stir. Here are a couple of pictures from previous season. Some were taken with a cell phone camera, I'll apologize in advance for the quality.

Goose Hunt on the Snake

I think we were 2 short of our limit

My friends old war horse (poor fella, he's retired now)

You Should Have Been Here Yesterday: So my friend went on this hunt alone on Monday. He calls me from the river at 10AM and says I missed it, he was picking his shots and limits out on green heads (save one hen shot accidentally). So I ditch work on Tue. and we go back out, we couldn’t get a duck in the deeks! I don't think I fired a shot that day and him maybe once.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Looks like a hoot. But your first picture shows good evidence why the waterfowl thread doesn't see that much action. The very first thing I noticed in that first picture were the hills in the background...they look like they need searched for a chukar or hun! :-)

I noticed the same thing to! I hunt waterfowl 3-4 times a year, but only if I can't go upland hunting.

Sorry fellas, those hills are barren. Unless you count rattlesnakes (lots of those up there) and the occasional badger's den (bag as a lab they are). And that endless sea of wheat field on top, barren too. Not even sure I'd recognize a hun it's been so long. And no quail or pheasant in the brushy draws and cattail lined ditches up there either.

Nope, you fellas down south got it made with all that good huntin'. Why I wouldn't waste the time, let alone the gas money, to come up here.

LOL...it's the same down here...terrible hatch this year. Nothing worth chasing in the hills. I think we'll be going to Wikipedia to remind ourselves what chukar look like!! ;o)

I've decided to post pics taken of my kids while duck hunting. We have a couple of rules in my home...#1 You can't go duck hunting with Dad until you're three, and #2 You can't get up really early with Dad and go duck hunting in the dark until you're 4.
My kids are now 6 and 5.
Here's a couple of pics from my son's first duck hunt:

And here's a couple more from my daughter's first hunt:

And here are some random others:

JJ, That might work. Where are you located? I'm in N. Idaho.
